NEW YORK, USA (AVING) -- Pentax has announced that it plans to release a new 7M digital camera 'Optio S7' equipped with automatic face recognition feature ‘AF&AE’ and stabilizer in mid-August in Japan.

It will be the latest version of Optio S series and it will feature face recognition features that recognize the location of a model's face automatically. It supports SDHC/SD memory card.

It measures 85.5×19.5×53.5mm at 100g(body) and is expected to be available for 30,000 yen.
