Når man leser om Sami Al-Arian andre steder på nettet ( f.eks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sami_Al-Arian) blir det jo åpenbart at denne mannen har hatt nære bånd til organisasjoner som bruker terroraksjoner for å fremme sin sak.
Og intet sted i verden har vel universitetsprofessorer større frihet enn i usa, jfr holocaust-nekterne, 11sept-nekterne etc.
Bommer ikke denne filmen stygt i å forsøke å fremstille Sami som en slags helgenskikkelse?
Han har jo innrømmet pengestøtte til en terrororganisasjon da. Dessuten har han fått en fantastisk muligheten til å fremme sin sak for en storjury, men nektet. Man må ikke bli totalt naiv - saken har nok minst to sider ...
Du har nok ikke skjønt mye eller fått med deg noe i det hele tatt! han har innrømmet å ha støtted en organisasjon,. hvor mange ganger har ikke vi selv gitt penger til veldedige formål? kan du med hånden på hjertet garantere hvor 100% av de pengene har gått? nei! hadde du fått den behandlingen som han har vært i gjennom så hadde du kjent deg skyldig i alle tiltalepunktene for å få være i fred. tror du regjeringen vil gi slipp på han som en uskyldig mann? det vil si at de må da innrømme at de har kort og greit dritet seg ut!
Israel blir støttet økonomisk av Usas regjering,er ikke det da en terrororganisasjon? forskjellen mellom usa og andre småorganisasjoner er kort og greit at de ikke har usa bak seg, at de finansierer seg selv. USA har skapt mange problemer,lidelser,blod, og ødelagt mange lender på jakt etter evig makt og herredømme.

This documentary was able to send a clear message “Silencing Dr. Sami for political reasons” .
It is a piece of work that will not only show the inhuman treatment of the US government, but also show how desperate the Zionist are in stopping any one who speaks for the Middle East case. How the US media works hand in hand with the government, in which its citizens “voted for”.
Its time that not only Americans note this, but any one voting for a government representing them should make sure that its government respects its citizens.
When this documentary was released in Europe at the Nobel Peace Center, it was top news for days in Norway. The Al Arians are better known and more accurately understood there than here in the US. Seeing with different eyes. That's what people will experience with this European produced film. The US and especially the Tampa Bay area media has mostly presented the government's side of this case. But is that factual? The jury in Tampa listened to 6 months of testimony, and ovewrwhelmingly rejected the government's case. Why? This documentary exposes the push to silence a clear voice for justice in Palestine-Israel. Real social and economic justioce for all the people is the only foundation for lasting peace. It can also build a vibrant future for all the peoples there.
That is why Christians in Tampa and across the United States have stood by Dr. Al Arian and his family. That is why over 4000 recently sent e-mails through the National Council of Churches' advocacy efforts to the Attorney General. They are calling for the US Justice Department to keep its word on the plea agreement which they reached with Dr. Al Arian. He needs to be released so that he can be with his family AND be a clear, strong contribution to justice and peace. The documentary premiers in the Tampa Bay area on May 16 at the Tampa Theatre. Veldig bra film absolutt, den setter seg i hjertet. Og man blir helt oppgitt over USAs evne til å se saken kun fra sin side. Er det rart at han "gir opp" og sier seg skyldig i enkelte av punktene i avtalen som blir framlagt ham for å bli deportert, når han evt. måttet gått igjennom en hel ny sak hvor aktoratet bare kjører på med sine såkalte bevis. Og kona hans sier de må betale 1.000.000$ i advokathonorarer for å få en skikkelig advokat, enn å få en nikkedukke oppnevnt av de amerikanske myndigheter. Det hadde ikke jeg hatt råd til.
En kan bare håpe at USA får en demokratisk president etter valget. Og at ting kan gå riktige veien. Stå på Sami! og takk til Line for å ha laget kjempegod film.
Det kan virke som om USA er nå noen få skritt unna en fascistisk politistat hvor dyp urett påføres borgerene av staten. Jeg vil i tillegg gjerne for min egen del ønske Al-Arian velkommen til Norge.
Mr. Al Arian should reconsider supporting terrorists the next time he is free if ever. Read the evidence people. This man is not an innocent victim of the government. He is a bona fide terrorist supporter and fundraiser.
The amount of hatred against Dr Al-Arian from groups like "jihad-watch.org" and "campus-watch.org" (an Israeli-backed front group) is unbelievable. It is unconscionable that a man who has been tried and found not guilty should be kept in prison.
As a civilian girl in Sweden, you really can't make any accurate comments on this case, because you don't have all the information you need. All I know today is that you can't beat the government. It doesn't matter whether you're guilty or not, if they want you silenced, they make sure that it happens.
And: Wikipedia is written by the masses, not by experts. make sure you've got the whole story before you brand innocent people as terrorists.
